1.Why does Melville use a whole chapter to explain the downfall in harpooners' position on the ship and the increase in captain's power over the sailers?
2.More importantly, what does Melville try to imply though Ishmael's negative attitude towards Ahab at the end of the chapter? What image does Melville try to show the readers though such contrast?
